Black and white are one of my favorite color combinations to play with — it’s easy, effortless, and always a classic. It’s hard to mess it up in my opinion! I can leave the house without looking in the mirror and know that I look put together.
I have worn this outfit too many times, but I have yet to get tired of it. I like pairing it with a pair of over-the-knee boots or black studded booties. This is also when I generally opt for a rare, brighter pop of color or pattern in the accessories department. I also love playing up a more red-toned lip color as well, since it goes so well with the monochromatic scheme.
For the oversized shirt, I sized up to get a borrowed-from-his-closet feel. Things that I love about this shirt: the hidden buttons, the length, and the way it drapes and flutters as I traipse throughout my day. I also love how the material is of a thicker variety, so nothing shows through from underneath. Surprisingly, I have also kept this shirt stain-free, which is a miracle on my part 😉
